Your way to SIXT

Please leave the terminal at the main exit and follow the pedestrian way to the rental car center for about 50m. Turn to the right and you will find our SIXT branch 20m to your right.

By public transport

From Innsbruck main station, take the bus line F to the airport, which takes about 15 minutes. The same bus line leaves for the main station every 15 minutes from the airport.

By car

You can find us even faster by using our GPS coordinates: 47.256755, 11.351271 Coming from Bregenz (A 12): Leave the highway A12 at the exit Kranebitten into the direction Center/Airport. Follow the street until the roundabout and take the 2nd exit. Stay on the right lane and leave the next roundabout at the 1st exit into Kranebitter Allee. After 1.5 km turn right into the Fischerhaeusleweg. Follow this street until the end. Then turn right into the Fuerstenweg and follow the road for 1.5km until you reach the airport area. The SIXT branch is located inside the car park across the terminal on the ground floor. Coming from Munich/Salzburg/Italy (A12): Leave the highway A12 at the exit Innsbruck West (Egger-Lienz-Straße). Follow this street until the next intersection and turn left into Holzhammerstraße. Cross the bridge and turn left at the 2nd intersection into the Fuerstenweg towards the airport and follow the road for 1.5km until you reach the airport area. The SIXT branch is located inside the car park across the terminal on the ground floor.

Return information

Passenger vehicle: Follow the blue signs "Car rental return". Enter the parking garage. The barrier will open by taking a chip. Please proceed to parking area A on the ground floor and park your SIXT vehicle on one of our designated parking spots. You may leave the parking chip in the vehicle or hand it over while returning th vehicle keys. Vans/trucks: Please park the SIXT van/truck at the outdoor parking lot at Fuerstenweg 176. After entering the parking lot please par the van/truck on one of the SIXT designated parking spots and return the vehicle keys in our Key Return Box or at the main SIXT counter in the Car Rental Center

Sixt and Beata saved the day! I had a reservation with Hertz and they cancelled my car because my flight was delayed and I was late. I went over to Sixt and Beata was able to get me a car immediately and worked with me to get me exactly what I needed. She was so friendly and made me feel so much better after an incredibly frustrating situation at Hertz. Such a smooth process and a very nice car. So thankful!
