Bardufoss Airport (BDU) is in the north of Norway (it is occasionally referred to as Snowman Airport). It has a runway which measures approximately 1,2 miles. The airport was the scene of some major activity during the Second World War. Later the civilian section of the airport received some investment in the 1990s; this allowed the construction of some new building including a control tower.
