I had a very good experience with Sixt. Planning to wander for 10 days around Uzbekistan, I had booked a Kia Seltos but, as this was unavailable, I was given a Chevrolet Captiva, which was a superior model, at the same price.
The car itself was fine, except for a low tyre pressure warning on the front right tyre. This forced me to check the pressure three times during my trip, which I did because I wanted to be sure that everything was OK, since I was travelling to some desert areas where assistance would be hard to find.
The delivery and return of the car were quick and easy.
I was very pleased with the efficiency and helpfulness of Mr Lazizbek at the Urgench office, who explained everything about the car and helped me in downloading the Yandex Navi app, which I found very useful as it is much more accurate than Google Maps. Mr Lazizbek tried to solve the tyre problem, but since this was not possible, he even gave me his mobile number and stayed in touch with me throughout the trip, checking that everything was going well and answering all my questions. He was also very helpful when I returned the car in Tashkent, liaising with his colleagues and helping me find the drop-off location. I think he deserves a special mention!
