I had wonderful experience with SixT Gare Du Nord, Paris. The office is less than 3 minutes walk from train station and the car pickup/return too is just around the corner. The staff are very helpful and advice on upgrade options, which I signed up and happy with. The pickup and return formalities took just a few minutes and uncomplicated. The security deposit was refunded in less than 12 hours. We got a good car that had just clocked 20k. Thank you and I will use this SixT station again.

So this is quite hard! First, Chris and Ilya at the GdN office were great. They handled a complex situation in their second or third language very well. Second, your website was very confusing on the subject of the International Driving Permit. Up until the day before the hire all the messaging we had said I needed one,which necessitated an expensive purchase (€150 including airmailing it to me in the UK), only to find out we only needed passports & licenses. Along with €2.50 I had to pay to get out of the car park I’m feeling a bit mislead & out of pocket over that. Third, the hire process was not straightforward due to a lack of EVs available, the requirement to change vehicle and then changing it again bc the keys to the original replacement car could not be found. I was also disappointed in the car. While it was perfectly serviceable & fit the bill well for our trip, the equipment level was way below what I would expect, particularly around the lack of the app integration option - the Qashqai we hired in London was absolutely seamless as it had Apple car play onboard, however with the Tiguan I ended up using my phone on my lap rather than the car’s inbuilt system. But overall the Tig performed well (especially on the A-Bahn in Germany;)) Directions to the office and the car location were clear & easy,and as stated Chris and Ilya acquitted themselves admirably.
