For outdoor and nature enthusiasts, the Sierra de Tejeda Natural Park and its highest peak La Maroma won't disappoint and it is an hours drive from the city. For a shorter excursion, the Bioparc Fuengirola can be found 30 minutes drive away, a wonderful zoological concept park where visitors are emerged in a recreation of each animal's natural habitat.
