When picking up the car, I was told that I did not have a 3rd party insurance though it was clearly stated in my email receipt/contract . I was told a 'story' (this it what I have to assume it was) that often, renters from the US does not have 3rd party insurance (I would have thought that it was illegal to drive a car in Denmark w/o 3rd party insurance - and that a renter claiming this would need to share proof that he/she does indeed have 3rd party insurance). The employee (which was nice) nearly convinced me to get extra insurance which would have voided my Credit Card rental car insurance. I decided to drive off assuming I was better educated than he was. At drop-off (which was flawless) I brought the 3rd-party issue up with the drop-off person and she confirmed that I had indeed the 3rd party insurance. Beware, that either the SIXT team needs better education or that they will try to make you buy unnecessary products that can void a US credit card rental car insurance. Be aware of what you order when you make a reservation (I made it on the SIXT website and it was actually clearly noted). But the rest of the experience was good: friendly crew, nice and clean car . Only car related issue: Denmark was hit by a snowstorm a few days prior to arrival and most of the cars are with summer tires. Seems a bit silly - at best.
